Meet Your Pediatric Dentists
Lisa Carlson-Marks, DDS
Dr. Lisa was born and raised in Reno Nevada. She attended the University of Arizona earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular biology. Dentistry brought her to Denver CO in 1991 to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
At the completion of dental school in 1995, she completed a two-year general practice hospital-based dental residency at University Hospital. Part of this training, lead her to Children’s Hospital Colorado where she was accepted into their Pediatric Dental Residency. Following the completion of residency in 1999, she pursued and completed Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry.
She met her Canadian husband, Harris in Colorado Springs and where he attended Colorado College as a hockey player, and they have been married for over two decades. She is raising two boys, Cooper and Easton who are both currently attending the University of Nevada-Reno. Now as empty nesters they are enjoying walking and hiking with their German Shepard Thora. Dr. Lisa also loves watching and scoring baseball games, hockey, Legos and in recent years has begun to restore her father’s 1929 Model A.
Meredith Harris, MD, DDS
Dr. Meredith’s kindness and gentle touch has always shone through. Specially in her work treating patients with cleft palates. Although she does not practice this specialty anymore it is worth mentioning that she has contributed to many successful cleft palate surgeries throughout the years.
When Dr. Meredith is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys exploring the outdoors. She loves skiing, hiking and traveling with her husband Eduardo. She has two grown children that she loves dearly and some fur babies as well!
Lacey Bowen, DDS
Dr. Lacey was born and raised in the great state of Wisconsin. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2015. Her passion for providing children with top-quality dental care was what led her to Children’s Hospital of Colorado, where she earned her Pediatric Dentistry Certificate. She still maintains privileges at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Dr. Lacey’s kindness and ingenuity have always stood out. In 2021, Dr. Lacey was featured in Incisal Edge Magazine’s 40 Under 40 celebrating the most innovative and interesting young Dentists in America.
When Dr. Lacey isn’t providing her patients with exceptional care, she enjoys traveling, exploring the natural beauty and endless opportunities for exploration that Colorado offers. Dr. Lacey loves hiking, skiing, catching shows at Red Rocks and cheering on her favorite teams with her fiancée Matt, who is an orthodontist. A little fun fact: ask Dr. Lacey about her amazing opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Arizona Cardinals game and see if she threw a strike!
