We welcome children of all ages and commit to being your child's dental home from infancy through young adult life. We also have the education and experience to accommodate children with special physical, or behavioral needs by providing a personalized approach and dedicated care. Your first visit will be crafted to be as individual and unique as your child, and we are committed to being there for you and your child through every stage of their dental growth.

Preparing for Your Child’s First Visit

To prepare for your child's first visit, we recommend discussing the benefits of visiting the dentist with them prior to their visit. You can tell them the dentist will check all their teeth to ensure they are strong and healthy. We do ask that a parent or guardian be present during your child’s appointments. This allows for the dental team to discuss any findings and recommended treatment needs with you directly.

During your child’s first visit, our team will:

Evaluate their health history and introduce your child to our dental team
Perform a dental examination and cleaning; X-rays will only be taken when necessary
Create a fun and memorable experience for you and your child

If you have been referred to us for treatment, our dental team will conduct an initial examination before treatment to discuss all options and gather any additional information to provide the best care for your child.

We have educational and fun story books regarding a child’s first visit to the dentist. Be sure to ask about them when you call to schedule, and we can mail one to you!
