Lisa Carlson-Marks, DDS

Dr. Lisa is one of our incredible doctors here at Children's Dentistry of Cherry Creek. Dr. Lisa was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She attended the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular biology. Her passion for dentistry was what brought her to Denver, Colorado in 1991 to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After the completion of dental school in 1995, she completed a two-year general practice dental residency at University Hospital. Part of this training led her to Children’s Hospital of Colorado, where she was accepted into their Pediatric Dental Residency.

Following the completion of her residency in 1999, she pursued and completed her Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Lisa's brilliance has always shone through. She has held many leadership roles throughout the years. She was president of her dental school class of 1995, and treasurer of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

When Dr. Lisa is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family. She met her Canadian husband, Harris, in Colorado Springs while he attended Colorado College as a hockey player. They have been married for 28 years. Her two boys, Cooper and Easton are both currently attending the University of Nevada-Reno.

Now that they are empty nesters, Dr. Lisa and Harris are enjoying all of the great outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer. Especially hiking with their German Shepard Thora! Dr. Lisa also loves baseball, hockey, building Legos and in recent years has begun to restore her father’s 1929 Model A. Dr. Lisa can’t wait to meet your family!
